The problems we filed on

Two Indian patent applications, both aimed at a failure mode that ordinary air samplers do not detect and therefore do not report.

Microbial air samplers Sampling heads

Smart Air Sampling System and Method

What it does

A sampling system in which the aspirating head communicates with the instrument wirelessly, so the head can be identified, tracked and validated as part of the sampling record rather than treated as an anonymous accessory.

Why it matters

Every sample can be tied back to the specific head that took it — which closes a gap reviewers routinely raise during audit trail review.

Real-Time Agar Plate and Sampling Head Closure Detection Mechanism for Microbial Air Sampler

What it does

Sensing that tells the instrument, in real time, whether an agar plate is actually present and whether the sampling head is properly closed before and during a run.

Why it matters

Stops the two failure modes that quietly invalidate a sample: sampling against an empty head, and sampling with the head not seated. Both are caught at the moment they happen and written to the audit trail.

Beyond the filings

The rest of the position

Most of what makes an instrument hard to copy is not in a patent claim. It is in the software, the validation library and the years of findings that shaped both.

Embedded platform

The instrument application layer — operator interface, on-device records, local audit trail and printing — developed in-house over several product generations.

Compliance software

Server-side user management, audit trail and review workflow, written against 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11 from the first line.

Design registrations

Industrial design and trade mark filings covering instrument appearance and product naming.

Validation library

IQ/OQ/PQ protocol sets, flow rate validation methods, calibration SOPs and audit trail event catalogues built up across installations.

Licensing and joint development

Our patented detection mechanisms and embedded platform are available for licensing and OEM integration. If you manufacture instruments and need this capability inside your own product, that is a conversation worth having.
